The 0.8 mm Tungsten Carbide Nozzle is designed for prints where speed and throughput are more important than fine details. The larger diameter allows you to extrude much more filament per second. This makes this nozzle suitable for large parts, robust functional prints, and models where you primarily want to create volume.
Like the other variants, this nozzle is made of tungsten carbide. That material is much harder than hardened steel. With HRA 90, the nozzle wears out less quickly, especially with abrasive filaments such as CF and GF. As a result, you need to change nozzles less often and your print quality remains stable for longer. According to Bambu Lab, this results in up to a 50% longer lifespan with abrasive, high-performance filaments.
The nozzle is part of the quick-swap design. You can quickly remove and replace the hotend using the lock. Always allow the hotend to cool down first and do not touch the heatblock.
Important compatibility points: for the H2 dual-nozzle function, Bambu Lab currently only supports nozzles of the same size on the left and right. The nozzle is compatible with both hotends on the H2D. On the H2C, this hotend is only supported on the left (liftable) hotend.
