Prototyping

Prototyping means: an early model of a product, or actually a prototype. A project usually has undergone multiple phases before it has become a final product. For example, you can test multiple phases of your project via a breadboard. You can use the jumper wires for this. These cables can be plugged into the board without having to solder them. If you are happy with the result of your project and you want to "fix" it definitively, then use a prototyping board. You can easily solder the components onto this board.

Why buy prototyping?

What should you pay attention to when buying prototyping?

Prototyping is ideal if you want to practice programming. You can move the cables as much as you want using a breadboard. You can also place the components in different places. You can use components more often, because you do not solder them. However, it is important to replace the components after a while. This is because they are of lower quality . Take a resistor for example. After using it a number of times, it can provide less resistance. Then it is wise to use a new one. Have you found a setup that you are satisfied with? Then solder the components on a prototyping board.

Jumper wires

Jumper wires are wires that have a connector pin at the end . This allows you to connect components to each other without having to solder them. You often place the components on the breadboard. These can be connected to each other with the wires or to the in/outputs of the motherboard. The cables are available in different types. You have the male-male wire, the female-female wire and the male-female wire. The jumper wires are available in 10 or 20cm .
