The 0.6 mm Tungsten Carbide Nozzle is designed for those who want to print faster while simultaneously needing a nozzle that lasts a long time with abrasive filaments. Think of fiber-reinforced materials such as CF and GF. Tungsten carbide is much harder than hardened steel. This nozzle has an HRA of 90 (hardened steel is around 74). As a result, it wears less quickly and requires less maintenance. According to Bambu Lab, this provides up to a 50% longer lifespan with abrasive, high-performance filaments.
With 0.6 mm, you extrude more material per second than with 0.4 mm. This allows you to build faster, especially for larger parts and functional prints. You do sacrifice some detail compared to 0.4 mm, but you save time. That makes this size popular for strong parts, housings, and larger models.
The nozzle is part of the quick-swap design. You can quickly remove and replace the hotend using the lock. Always allow the hotend to cool down first and do not touch the heatblock.
Important compatibility points: for the H2 dual-nozzle function, Bambu Lab currently only supports nozzles of the same size on the left and right. The nozzle is compatible with both hotends on the H2D. On the H2C, this hotend is only supported on the left (liftable) hotend.
