The Polymaker Filament - PolyLite ASA Grey - 1.75mm - 1KG offers a superior choice for 3D printing projects that require exposure to the elements. This filament is an excellent alternative to ABS. It is known for its improved weatherability, thanks to its significant UV resistance and excellent mechanical properties. The material has a density of 1.13 g/cm3 at 23°C. This provides an optimal balance between strength and lightness. It is resistant to weak acids, oils and fats, while being only slightly resistant to strong acids and alkalis. With a melt index of 25 g/10min at 220°C it can be processed efficiently. The filament is suitable for high temperature applications. For optimal printing results, a nozzle temperature of 240-260°C is recommended, with a bed temperature of 75-95°C, without cooling.
