Use Alpha Black Resin for housing models, product concepts, and positioning aids. The matte black color gives components a clean finish, while small edges and details are rendered sharply.
With the validated Formlabs settings, you align the material with the light source of the Form Studio 1. This makes the step from a digital model to a suitable prototype straightforward.
Tuned to the Form Studio 1
This resin is suitable exclusively for the Formlabs Form Studio 1. The material is not compatible with the Form 4, Form 4B, Form 4L, or Form 4BL. Use a Form Studio 1 Resin Tank and the corresponding validated material settings in PreForm.
Washing, post-curing and careful processing
Wash your prints, let them dry completely, and cure them according to the Formlabs material profile. Alpha Resins are developed with lower-odor components. The UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for low chemical emissions applies to printing with the Form Studio 1 and the VOC Extractor.
Avoid contact with liquid resin. Use suitable protective gloves and eye protection and follow the material's safety data sheet. Low emissions do not mean that liquid resin can be handled without precautions.

Warning. Liquid Alpha Black Resin causes skin irritation (H315) and serious eye irritation (H319). It may cause an allergic skin reaction (H317). Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. Avoid inhaling vapors and ensure adequate ventilation.
