Transparent components for design and light
With Alpha Clear Resin, you create prototypes that let light through or make internal shapes visible. Think of a lamp housing, a viewing model, or a transparent mold. The final clarity also depends on the print settings and post-processing.
The material combines a neat surface quality with mechanical properties for functional prototypes. This allows you to investigate both the appearance and the operation of a transparent part.
Tuned to the Form Studio 1
This resin is suitable exclusively for the Formlabs Form Studio 1. The material is not compatible with the Form 4, Form 4B, Form 4L, or Form 4BL. Use a Form Studio 1 Resin Tank and the corresponding validated material settings in PreForm.
Washing, post-curing and careful processing
Wash your prints, let them dry completely, and cure them according to the Formlabs material profile. Alpha Resins are developed with lower-odor components. The UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for low chemical emissions applies to printing with the Form Studio 1 and the VOC Extractor.
Avoid contact with liquid resin. Use suitable protective gloves and eye protection and follow the material's safety data sheet. Low emissions do not mean that liquid resin can be handled without precautions.
