Formlabs Alpha Fast Resin is a fast-printing resin for the Form Studio 1. The material achieves print speeds of up to 130 mm per hour. This allows you to quickly create a new prototype or a workshop tool, enabling you to test and further develop sooner.

Alpha Fast Resin was developed for rapid design iterations. According to Formlabs, the entire build volume of the Form Studio 1 can be printed in less than two hours. The actual print time depends on the model and the settings used.
The resin has a tensile strength of 46 MPa and an elongation at break of 34%. These values make the material interesting for functional prototypes, positioning aids, and tool models. The final properties depend on the prescribed finishing.
Tuned to the Form Studio 1
This resin is suitable exclusively for the Formlabs Form Studio 1. The material is not compatible with the Form 4, Form 4B, Form 4L, or Form 4BL. Use a Form Studio 1 Resin Tank and the corresponding validated material settings in PreForm.
Washing, post-curing and careful processing
Wash your prints, let them dry completely, and cure them according to the Formlabs material profile. Alpha Resins are developed with lower-odor components. The UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for low chemical emissions applies to printing with the Form Studio 1 and the VOC Extractor.
Avoid contact with liquid resin. Use suitable protective gloves and eye protection and follow the material's safety data sheet. Low emissions do not mean that liquid resin can be handled without precautions.
