The Formlabs Form Studio 1 Flex Graphite Founders Edition is an accessible MSLA resin 3D printer for sharp details, smooth surfaces, and accurate prototypes. The build volume of 200 × 125 × 235 mm offers space for miniatures, concept models, and functional parts.
The Graphite color gives the printer a calm appearance on your workbench, in your studio, or in the office. This is the Flex version from the Founders Edition series.
Fast from design to resin print
The Form Studio 1 prints most parts in less than two hours. With Alpha Fast Resin, the printer achieves speeds of up to 130 mm per hour. The actual print time depends on the model, the resin, and the selected settings.
The XY resolution of 35 µm and anti-aliasing ensure fine details and sharp edges. You can choose layer thicknesses from 25 to 250 µm, allowing you to fine-tune the result for a detailed miniature or a quick test model.
Automatic resin supply and control
The integrated dosing system automatically replenishes the resin. According to Formlabs, material changes take less than a minute. Monitoring functions track temperature, resin level, printing forces, and print status, among other things.
Prepare models in the free PreForm software. You can track progress via Formlabs Dashboard and the Form Mobile App. The built-in camera helps you view a print remotely.
Formlabs resins and an open material platform
Use the validated Alpha Resins for a tailored combination of material and print settings. Open Material Mode is included at no separate licensing costs. This allows you to use 405 nm resins from other brands as well. For materials in Open Material Mode, you need the Form Studio 1 Resin Tank Pro.
The UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for low chemical emissions applies to the combination of Form Studio 1, Alpha Resins, and the VOC Extractor. This certification does not replace the instructions for use for resin.
Complete your workflow
With the Form Studio Wash+Cure, you wash and cure prints in a single device. The separately available Build Platform Flex allows you to detach parts without tools using Quick Release Technology. Additionally, choose the tank that matches your resin.
