The LAMP:bit from Kitronik is a small lamp shaped like a street lamp. It is designed to be used with a BBC micro:bit and can stand upright. The LAMP:bit has connectors which allow the micro:bit to be screwed directly into place . It is great for projects where traffic is a central issue. It would work well in conjunction with the STOP:bit from Kitronik.
The board contains a phototransistor that can be used to respond to changes in ambient light . This allows the white LED to turn on or off automatically.
The board is powered by the micro:bit connected to it, this is done via the 0V and 3V pins.
