
Description Bambu Lab Cool Plate SuperTack Pro
The Bambu Cool Plate SuperTack Pro is a flexible build plate for the Bambu Lab H2D. The special coating ensures strong adhesion at a relatively low bed temperature. This makes the plate particularly suitable for PLA and PETG prints.
Bambu Lab recommends a bed temperature of 40°C for PLA and 60°C for PETG. The lower temperature limits energy consumption and shortens warm-up time. The strong adhesion also helps to reduce peeling corners and warping on larger models.
The SuperTack Pro has a smooth surface. This gives the bottom of your print an even, matte finish. Therefore, no coarse texture develops like with a Textured PEI Plate.
Compared to the standard SuperTack, the Pro version has a longer lifespan, a lower operating temperature, and better scratch resistance, according to Bambu Lab. The plate consists of flexible spring steel with a SuperTack Pro coating. After printing, you can remove the plate from the print bed and bend it gently.
Glue is not necessary under normal use. Is a print stuck too firmly? Then heat the plate to 50 °C. Next, use the supplied printer spatula to carefully loosen a corner of the model.
NB
This version is suitable for the Bambu Lab H2D and H2S. The plate does not fit the H2C. A separate 330 × 320 mm version is required for the H2C.
Do not use this build plate for TPU. TPU can adhere too strongly to the surface and damage the coating.
The SuperTack Pro coating is relatively soft. Therefore, be careful with a spatula or other tool. Do not dig hard into the surface and avoid scratching.
In case of heavy soiling, clean the plate with water and dish soap. Do not use organic solvents, such as acetone. These agents can damage the coating.
Bambu PLA Silk+ is officially supported. Other PLA Silk filaments may bond too strongly. For third-party filament, use the Generic PLA Silk profile and check the adhesion first with a small test print.
The Cool Plate SuperTack Pro is a wear part. The adhesion and coating may diminish over time due to normal use.
