Filament Buffer – Bambu Lab H2S

Thumbnail 1

Description Filament Buffer – Bambu Lab H2S

The Filament Buffer for the Bambu Lab H2S regulates the movement of the filament. This ensures a stable and even feed to the hotend. This helps to ensure smooth loading via AMS and reduces fluctuations in filament tension. The buffer is located in the top cover of the printer and operates using sliding parts and springs.

You replace the filament buffer if the AMS is not working properly and you see clear damage to the buffer. Bambu Lab support may also indicate that replacement is necessary. You replace it using an H2.0 Allen key. Disconnect the PTFE tubes, remove the buffer using four screws, and then reconnect the cable. Always turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet before working on the electronics.

The package contains the filament buffer and four BT3x8 screws. The housing is made of metal and plastic. The color is black with orange accents. This part is intended for the Bambu Lab H2S series.
