The Bambu Lab Riser Base raises the workspace under your R1 laser cutter. This creates space for taller objects and additional accessories. You use this riser when a workpiece does not fit in the standard workspace. The maximum workpiece height with the Riser Base is 248 mm.
The extra space also accommodates the Rotary Attachment. This allows you to engrave round objects such as bottles and cups. For automatic feeding with the Automatic Conveyor Feeder, you also need the Riser Base. The Rotary Attachment and Conveyor are sold separately.
The riser supports door detection at the front, upper front, and rear. Four built-in flame sensors monitor the presence of flames. Power is supplied via an eight-pin cable from R1. The dimensions of the Riser Base are 940 × 560 × 234 mm.
Pay attention to the safety implications before using this extension. With the Riser Base, the R1 changes from laser class 1 to class 4. Use requires suitable CO₂ laser safety goggles and trained professional users. Always follow the instructions for the complete setup.
