Bambu Lab PLA Mat is PLA with a matte finish. You get a calm, sleek look without shine. Layer lines are less noticeable and your model looks “finished” faster. This is useful if you make prints that you use immediately, or if you want to present a prototype neatly without extra post-processing.

This filament is made for high print speeds. Bambu PLA Mat is designed to remain stable at speed, with print speeds of up to approximately 250–300 mm/s. This allows you to iterate faster while still maintaining a neat finish. Furthermore, PLA remains one of the easiest materials to print with. So you have less hassle with settings, while still achieving a beautiful matte surface.

This variant comes without a spool (refill). You place the filament on a reusable spool. This reduces plastic waste and is practical if you have multiple colors in stock. Navy Blue is a deep, technical color that works perfectly for cases, organizers, functional parts, and display models. It looks professional and remains understated, even with larger prints.

For a consistent result, dry filament is important. Bambu recommends drying PLA Mat before use and storing it dry afterwards. Therefore, preferably store your refill sealed with desiccant. This prevents brittle filament and keeps your matte surface sleek.
