The Bambu Lab Engineering Plate for H2D and H2S is designed for engineering filaments and higher bed temperatures. It is a great build plate if you want reliable adhesion for functional parts. Think of housings, molds, jigs, and other parts you want to use immediately.

With a thin layer of adhesive, the plate also works with all types of Bambu Lab filament. This is convenient if you switch between PLA, PETG, and technical materials in a single environment. You then need to change build plates less often. This saves time and prevents errors when selecting the right plate.

The renewed, smooth coating has been developed for long-term use. The top layer is more resistant to heat, scratches, and corrosion. As a result, adhesion remains stable, even with longer prints and repeated cleaning. The smooth base gives your print a flat underside. For a stable result, it is recommended to always use glue on the Engineering Plate. Clean the plate regularly with warm water and dish soap. This prevents dust and grease from reducing adhesion.
