With the Waveshare SIM7600E-H 4G HAT, you give a Raspberry Pi access to mobile networks. The module supports 4G, 3G, and 2G. You can use it for internet, SMS messaging, phone calls, and mobile IoT projects.
The LTE Cat 4 connection achieves a theoretical download speed of 150 Mbit/s. Uploading is possible at a maximum of 50 Mbit/s. The European SIM7600E-H version supports widely used Dutch and European frequency bands.
In addition to mobile communication, the HAT also offers GNSS positioning. It receives signals from GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS, among others. This makes the module suitable for vehicles, trackers, monitoring stations, and remote applications.
You operate the module via USB, UART, or AT commands. Thanks to the 40-pin GPIO connector, you can mount it directly onto a Raspberry Pi . The separate connection pins enable use with Arduino, STM32, and other development boards.
