RTC Battery for Raspberry Pi 5

The power management chip on the Raspberry Pi 5 is equipped with a real-time clock and a coin cell charging circuit. This can power the clock when the primary power supply is off. The Panasonic ML-2020 Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery, equipped with a two-pin connector, is compatible with the battery connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 board. The battery can be attached to the inside of a case or other suitable location using a double-sided sticker.
