The Raspberry Pi UPS HAT from DFRobot is a power supply add-on for the Raspberry Pi . It can supply the Raspberry Pi with power for a long period of time when the system is turned off . This can prevent system damage. In addition, a safe shutdown is guaranteed. The UPS HAT can be used to provide stable power. This is ideal for projects such as Raspberry Pi cameras, tablets and field data collection systems.
The UPS HAT contains a MAX17043 fuel gauge which is used for power detection. In addition, there is an on-board microcontroller (MCU) for data processing. This way, the Raspberry Pi can obtain information about the current capacity and battery voltage via I2C communication .
The HAT has 5 built-in LED lights, which indicate the battery capacity.
Notes:
1.3.7V lithium battery is not included in the package due to transportation restrictions.
2. Use a 3.7V lithium battery that meets the standard specification.
3. Please note that there would be a certain degree of heating in the power source area of the product during use, you can never be too careful in using it.
