The Picade is a compact retro arcade machine for your desk. With it you can build your own mini arcade. The system works with a Raspberry Pi and is a do-it-yourself kit. The set includes authentic arcade controls, a 10-inch 4:3 IPS screen and a built-in speaker. Play 8-bit games or develop new games yourself with the included PICO-8 license.
The cabinet is made of sturdy black powder-coated MDF. This gives the same quality as a full-size arcade. The joystick and low profile buttons provide a real arcade experience. The retro artwork completes the design. With the USB-C Picade X HAT you can easily connect everything. You can even power a Raspberry Pi 4 directly with it. The compact design and rubber feet keep the machine stable.
The Picade comes as a kit. You can assemble everything in 2 to 3 hours. Please note: you need a Raspberry Pi that is sold separately. This can be a Raspberry Pi 3A+, 3B, 3B+, 4B or 5. You also need a USB-C power supply and a microSD card.
