Formlabs Resin Washing Solution removes liquid resin from printed parts. The product was developed for the Form Wash and Form Wash L. You use it as an alternative to IPA within supported material workflows. This package contains 5 liters of liquid.

A good wash bath is important for the finishing of your prints. Residual resin must be removed before you process the part further. Therefore, choose a detergent that is compatible with the resin. Also, check the washing time specified in the material instructions.

According to Formlabs, this solution can absorb more resin than IPA before the bath becomes saturated. How often you replace the liquid depends on your usage. The number of prints and the amount of residual resin play a role in this. Therefore, monitor the condition of the bath during normal maintenance.

Allow washed parts to dry according to the material specifications. This is followed by the appropriate curing program. The wash solution does not take over this step. Also consult the safety data sheet for storage and handling. Resin Washing Solution is suitable for a washing station for the Form 4 or Form 4L. Always use the product with a resin for which the manufacturer supports this approach.
