Description Bambu Lab PLA Aero Grey With Spool 1KG
Bambu Lab PLA Aero Grey is a special PLA that expands at higher temperatures during printing. This creates small air pockets in the material. The result is a lower weight than standard PLA. Ideal if you want to keep parts lightweight, without complex materials or difficult post-processing.
This filament is made for lightweight prints such as drones/UAVs, gliders, and aerodynamic models. Grey is a nice, neutral color for technical parts. It looks sleek, and shapes and edges are clearly visible. Handy for test prints, functional prototypes, and parts that need to look “serious.”
For a stable result, dry printing is important. Bambu recommends storage and printing below 20% RH, airtight with desiccant. For drying, preferably use a hot air dryer at 55°C (8 hours). If you are printing on an X1 series, you can also dry on the heatbed (65–75°C, 12 hours). This is the variant with a spool (1 kg, 1.75 mm).
