Description Three-Axis Gravity Acceleration Tilt Module

The Three-Axis Gravitational Acceleration Tilt Module (GY-291 ADXL345) is an advanced sensor that can measure acceleration and tilt. This module has a compact size and provides digital output, making it ideal for use with Arduino and other development boards. The ADXL345 is a low-power 3-axis MEMS accelerometer with a high resolution of 13 bits. It can take measurements up to +-16 g and provides digital data in 16-bit two's complement format. This data can be read out via both an SPI (3- or 4-wire) and an I2C digital interface. The module is particularly suitable for applications that require the measurement of static acceleration due to gravity and tilt, as well as dynamic acceleration due to motion or shock. With a resolution of 4 mg/LSB, it is even possible to accurately measure tilts of less than 1.0 degrees.
