The :MOVE mini (also called movemini) MK 2 buggy is the latest version of the :MOVE mini robot from Kitronik. It offers a fun introduction to robotics. The :MOVE mini is a 2-wheeled robot that was developed for the BBC micro:bit. It can be used in multiple ways, standalone, via Bluetooth or via a second micro:bit .

The MK2 features a new set of injection molded wheels with 0-ring rubber tires. The wheels maintain a large size relative to the chassis and add improved traction . The performance of the MK2 is much better than the V1.0 .

The Kitronik :MOVE mini is powered by two continuously rotating servo motors. The speed of the servos can be controlled by changing the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal to the servo. This is easily done in the servo code blocks during programming .

The buggy also features 5 x RGB individually addressable ZIP LEDs (NeoPixel compatible), which can be used as indicators, reversing lights etc...

You can expand the robot with, for example, a pen or extra parts. This way you can further expand the possibilities of the robot.
