Description Formlabs Form 4L Premium Package - SLA 3D printer

The Formlabs Form 4L is a resin printer for accurate prototypes and functional parts. You use the printer for large housings, scale models, and molds. Small details stand out clearly, which helps you evaluate a design before proceeding to production. You can also place multiple parts on the build platform at the same time.

The build volume is 353 x 196 x 350 mm. When arranging the layout, leave space for supports and the correct print orientation. The printer uses Low Force Display technology. This system exposes an entire layer at a time. The actual print time depends on your resin, layer height, and model. Therefore, choose a material profile that suits your application.

You prepare the file in PreForm. There you select the material and the desired layer height. You place the model and add supports where necessary. Also check that hollow parts can drain properly. Then you send the job to the printer. You monitor the progress of your work via the Dashboard.

After printing, the part is not yet ready for use. Remove it from the build pad and wash away any remaining resin. Then, let the part dry. Cure it according to the settings of the chosen material. Remove the supports at the appropriate time. This minimizes marks on visible surfaces.

Choose your resin based on the load the part will receive. A presentation model requires different properties than a clamp or mold. Consider stiffness, flexibility, and heat resistance. Also, check the dimensions of your design after the first test print. This check allows you to make targeted adjustments to the next version.

The Premium Package gives you more capacity to complete multiple print jobs consecutively. The bundle includes two Form Wash L V2 machines and a Form Cure L V2. You also receive Finishing Tools, a Flex Build Platform, and Open Material Mode. Extra tanks, mixers, and build platforms assist with switching between jobs. The described bundle includes a five-year Pro Service Plan. Use external materials only with appropriate, tested settings.
