Formlabs Flexible 80A Resin V1 is the earlier translucent version of Flexible 80A. You use it to print rubbery prototypes that can bend and compress. The material is suitable for grips, protective parts, and components requiring strong flexibility.

Use this version if it aligns with an existing design or a previous test. This allows you to examine the shape and feel with the same material. The resin has a Shore hardness of 80A. This results in different behavior compared to softer elastomeric materials.

This version works with the Form 4 and Form 4L. Select the correct profile for the older material version in PreForm. Wash and cure the print according to the accompanying instructions. Maintain the same settings and post-processing during a series of tests.

Flexible 80A Resin V2 is also available for new projects. This version is black and has updated properties. Therefore, do not transfer results from V1 to V2 without testing. Also, check the availability of this older version. This allows you to make an informed choice between material continuity and a newer formulation. Both versions have their own article number and their own place in your material management system.

This package contains 5 liters of resin. Use the correct Resin Pump and connection for your printer. Check these parts before installing the bulk package. Keep different materials separate during switching.
