Description Filament Buffer – Bambu Lab H2D/ H2C
The Filament Buffer for the Bambu Lab H2D and H2C regulates the movement of the filament. This keeps the feed to the hotend stable and even. This helps to reduce stress on the filament and make loading and printing more reliable, especially in combination with an AMS.
The filament buffer is located in the top cover of the printer. The component consists of sliding parts and springs that absorb the movement of the filament. You replace the buffer if the AMS is not working properly and the buffer is visibly damaged. Bambu Lab support may also indicate that replacement is necessary. Always turn off the printer and unplug it from the power outlet before working on the electronics.
The package contains the filament buffer and four BT3x8 screws. The housing is made of metal and plastic. The color is black with orange accents. This part is suitable for the Bambu Lab H2D and H2C.
