The major difference compared to many other printers is the dual-nozzle system. You print with two nozzles in a single print job. The primary nozzle prints your model. The secondary nozzle can print support material or a second material. This often allows you to remove supports much more cleanly and keeps your model looking better. Multi-material printing also becomes easier, for example, a rigid PLA part with a flexible TPU part.

The X2D is designed for technical materials and consistent quality. The nozzle can reach up to 300°C, and the printer features active chamber heating up to 65°C. This helps reduce distortion and improve layer adhesion with filaments such as ABS, ASA, and nylon. Smart calibration and monitoring keep the flow stable, even when conditions change. With built-in cameras, the printer can detect printing issues faster, so you waste less time and filament.

In this combo, you get the X2D together with an AMS 2 Pro. This allows you to start multi-color and multi-material workflows immediately. You can expand later with multiple AMS systems for even more colors and combinations. The X2D has a build volume of 256 × 256 × 260 mm and is designed for daily use. The filtration system with G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA, and activated carbon helps to reduce odor and particulate matter in the air.
