Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ is PLA for parts you actually use. It is made for prints that need to be tougher than standard PLA. Think of clips, brackets, mounting aids, housings, and parts that occasionally take a knock. You keep the ease of use of PLA, but you get more reliability for functional applications.

Tough+ is also suitable for high print speeds. This is useful if you want to iterate quickly or print multiple parts in succession. So you can pick up the pace without immediately ending up with a fragile model. For many projects, this is a nice middle ground: stronger than normal PLA, but without the added complexity of materials that require higher temperatures or tricky settings.

This variant comes without a spool (refill). You place the filament on a reusable spool. This reduces plastic waste and is practical if you use a lot or keep multiple colors in stock. Black is the most popular color for functional prints. It looks sleek, hides minor signs of wear better, and matches almost any housing or machine setup.

For a consistent result, drying and storage are important. Bambu recommends drying PLA Tough+ before use and storing it dry afterwards. Especially with strong parts, you want the layers to adhere properly and your part not to become brittle due to moisture. Therefore, store your refill sealed with a desiccant.
