Bambu Lab PLA Metal is PLA with a metallic appearance. Your prints will have a distinct shine and a true metal look. At the same time, it prints almost as easily as regular PLA. This makes this filament ideal for visible work, prototypes, and models where the finish matters.
Copper Brown Metallic is a warm copper-brown color with a luxurious metallic finish. This pairs well with industrial designs, steampunk details, and decoration. It is also a strong choice for housings and components you want to give a “premium” look. PLA Metal is stiff and strong enough for most everyday prints, ensuring a predictable workflow.
This variant comes with a spool and contains 1 kg of filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm. The spool is made of ABS and is heat-resistant up to 70 °C. Bambu recommends a nozzle temperature of 190–230 °C and a bed temperature of 35–45 °C. Use a Cool Plate, High Temperature Plate, or Textured PEI Plate. Use glue for good adhesion. Store the filament airtight with desiccant and keep the humidity below 20% RH.
