The Bambu Lab H2C Induction Hotend is a complete hotend for the H2C and H2C Laser. It heats up using induction. As a result, the nozzle reaches temperature quickly and you experience less waiting time. The hotend is part of the Vortek system, which can work with multiple hotends. This allows you to print multi-materials with less purge waste than with a single nozzle.
This version features a 0.2 mm stainless steel nozzle. This is the right choice if you want to print maximum detail. Think of miniatures, fine text, small parts, and sharp edges. Due to the smaller nozzle, you print slower, but you get a cleaner result. Stainless steel is primarily intended for non-abrasive filaments, such as PLA, PETG, and ABS. For CF- and GF-filled filaments, hardened steel is better, as those filaments can wear down stainless steel faster.
The hotend uses a contactless power and signal interface. Therefore, there are no contact pins that can oxidize. It also features protection against overheating, overvoltage, and short circuits. Two sensors measure the temperature of the nozzle and the heatsink. If the heatsink becomes too hot, the system automatically increases the cooling. This helps prevent heat creep and reduces the risk of clogging during long prints.
