The Bambu Lab Automatic Fire Extinguishing System is an extra layer of safety for laser work on the H2 series. As soon as a fire is detected, the system responds quickly by injecting CO₂ gas into the chamber. This automatically suppresses a nascent fire without you having to intervene first.
Important to know: this system is not a “license” to walk away. Bambu Lab itself states that it does not offer a 100% guarantee. Therefore, for laser jobs, you must always stay nearby and follow normal safety rules. View it as an emergency brake that reduces risks, not as a substitute for supervision.
There is also a backup in the event of a power outage. The system features a manual emergency trigger that allows you to activate extinguishing if the printer loses power.
