Raspberry Pi Zero Accessories

To get started with the Pi Zero boards you need a number of accessories. You need a Micro SD card on which you install an operating system. The standard operating system is Raspberry Pi OS, but you can also use Ubuntu, Home Assistant or something similar. In addition, you need a power supply to supply the Zero with power. The Zero has a Micro USB connection for a 5V 2.5A power supply. Do you want to connect the Pi to a screen? Then you need a Mini HDMI cable. The Zero does not have a USB A port for accessories. If you want to connect one or more USB devices you need an OTG cable and/or USB hub. The Zero comes with a CSI connector to connect a camera. There is room for a 40 Pins GPIO header (not included as standard), which you have to solder onto the board yourself. When you do this, you have unlimited expansion options. You can place a ready-made HAT on the GPIO pins or develop an extension yourself. When you are getting started with the Raspberry Pi Zero for the first time, it is wise to take a starter kit. Here you will find all the basic necessities to get started successfully.
