With this thread insert kit (400 pieces), you create strong threads in plastic. Ideal for 3D prints, housings, and parts that you frequently unscrew and screw back on. Instead of screwing directly into plastic, you insert a brass insert. Then, you use a standard M3 bolt. This is sturdier and prevents screw holes from stripping.

These are heat-set inserts. You place them in a pre-drilled hole and gently press them into place with a soldering iron. The plastic melts slightly and clamps tightly around the insert. This creates a neat, secure connection. Handy for electronics enclosures, robotics, prototypes, and repairs.
