Description Retro racing car model kit - working V8 engine, pistons, STEM
With this retro racing car model kit, you build a blue race car that displays mechanics just as you normally only see them in a real engine bay. While building, you discover how gears, shafts, and a drivetrain work together. And when it drives, you see the V8 engine really moving. The pistons go up and down and the gears turn along. That makes this model not only fun to build, but also to look at.
The car has a working gearbox with 4 gears and reverse. So you can actually shift gears, which makes the model extra realistic. The steering mechanism also works, and the front and rear suspension provide movement just like a real race car. As a result, this kit feels more like a technical project than “just a toy”.
The set consists of 233 parts and is intended for builders aged 10 and up. No soldering or programming knowledge is required. The car runs on 2x AAA batteries (not included). Once built, it makes a cool display model for a shelf or desk, but you can also simply drive it around.
Warning: contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 3 years.
