Description Light activated switch - Kitronik
This is the Light Activated Switch kit from Kitronik. The output of this board can be used to control other electronic circuits . This allows them to automatically turn on when it gets light or dark. The board can be expanded with an LED and current limiting resistor (not included).
The Darlington pair transistor configuration allows an output to be regulated up to 0.5A . The operating voltage is 3V to 12V. Lower voltages allow better adjustment of the switching point.
