Formlabs Tough 1500 Resin V2 for Form Studio 1 is a tough engineering resin for parts that need to flex while remaining strong. The combination of strength, stiffness, and toughness is comparable to polypropylene (PP). Use it for functional prototypes, snap-fit connections, and durable tools.

For parts that bend and absorb load

Tough 1500 Resin V2 offers resistance to breakage and impact. The material is suitable for resilient mechanisms, sturdy housings, and parts with self-tapping screws. You can also use it to make positioning aids and fasteners.

The resin combines stiffness and deformability. This helps in testing snap connections and other parts that need to bend slightly during use or assembly.

This version is exclusively for Form Studio 1

This is the Form Studio 1 version with manufacturer part number RS-C2-ST15-02. The material is not compatible with the Form 4, Form 4B, Form 4L, or Form 4BL. For those printers, use the separate Tough 1500 Resin V2 version for Form 4.

For Tough 1500 Resin V2 on the Form Studio 1, the Resin Tank Pro is required. The standard Form Studio 1 Resin Tank is not compatible with this material. Wash and cure the prints afterwards according to Formlabs' instructions.

Handle technical resin with care

Use suitable protective gloves and eye protection when handling liquid resin. Follow the safety data sheet and material instructions for processing, storage, and disposal.
