Description Baron 4WD Robot platform Encoders

The renewed Baron 4 wheel driven robot platform contains among other things encoders. The Baron is also now better equipped for all sensors and other electronics. The chassis of the Baron is very sturdy and has a special coating so that you will not suffer from short circuits. Thanks to the encoders you can read the position and speed of the motors. As a control we recommend the Romeo all in one controller. But it is of course also possible to use an Arduino with a motor shield. The kit contains everything to assemble the robot but also extras for example distance sensors. Enough bolts and nuts are included to mount extras. A battery holder, power switch, power plug and wires are also included so that you can easily connect everything.
