Bambu Lab PPS-CF is a filament for heavy-duty applications. It is made of PPS with carbon fiber. As a result, the material is very stiff and dimensionally stable. It is also highly heat-resistant. This makes PPS-CF suitable for parts that need to maintain performance for a long time.
PPS-CF is strong in demanding environments. It is resistant to many solvents and corrosion. It also handles oil and grease well. The material is flame-retardant. Once the flame is out, it extinguishes itself. Due to the carbon fiber, it bends less easily. This is useful for functional parts.
This variant is black and comes with a spool. You receive 0.75 kg of filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm. The spool is made of cardboard and is heat-resistant up to 145 °C. PPS-CF requires high printing temperatures. Bambu recommends 310–340 °C for the nozzle. The bed is usually set to 100–120 °C. A heated room of 60–90 °C also helps. Dry the filament thoroughly and store it airtight with desiccant.
