Bambu Lab ASA is a strong filament for outdoor use. It is highly resistant to UV and weather. As a result, your print stays neat for longer, even in sun, rain, and temperature fluctuations. ASA is ideal for parts that you leave outside, such as plant labels, housings, and sturdy mounts.
ASA is also mechanically strong and reasonably heat-resistant. It is a good choice if you want something that lasts longer than PLA. Think of functional parts that are used daily. For a clean result, a stable print environment is important. Ensure good adhesion and a warm, quiet printer room. This reduces the risk of warping.
This variant is green and comes with a spool. You receive 1 kg of filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm. The spool is made of PC + ABS and is heat-resistant up to 90 °C. Bambu recommends a nozzle temperature of 240–270 °C and a bed temperature of 80–100 °C. Use an Engineering Plate, High Temperature Plate, or Textured PEI Plate. Use glue for good adhesion. Store the filament airtight with desiccant and keep the humidity below 20% RH.
