The ADC-DAC Pi Zero is a 2-channel 12-bit converter. It can convert digital to analog and analog to digital. It is designed for use with a Raspberry Pi . It has the same footprint as the Raspberry Pi Zero . The ADC-DAC Pi Zero is also compatible with the full size Raspberry Pi models.
The ADC-DAC Pi Zero is based on the Microchip MCP3202 A/D converter which has 2 analog inputs with 12-bit resolution . There is also a Microchip MCP4822 2-channel 12-bit DAC with internal voltage reference. The ADC-DAC Pi Zero is powered from the Raspberry Pi using the GPIO pins or via the onboard power connector . Thanks to the extended GPIO pins you can stack the ADC-DAC Pi Zero with other expansion boards .
