The Grove 6-Axis Accelerometer and Gyroscope (BMI088) is a high-performance Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). It provides precise measurements of motion and rotation in six degrees of freedom (6DoF) . This sensor is based on the BOSCH BMI088 and offers excellent vibration suppression. Making it ideal for applications where precise motion detection is required. The main idea behind Grove is to simplify the process of building electronic circuits by eliminating the need for soldering or complex wiring. The sensor can handle an extended range of acceleration up to ±24g. Allowing for accurate measurements even under strong signal illumination. Both the gyroscope and accelerometer can be used separately or together to synchronize data . Allowing for versatility in data acquisition. The sensor combines a 16-bit triaxial gyroscope and a 16-bit triaxial accelerometer. Providing extensive possibilities for motion sensors.
