This dock supports both M.2 SATA (NGFF) and M.2 NVMe (PCIe). This allows you to use many different M.2 drives. It also supports UASP and TRIM, which helps with the speed and maintenance of your SSD. The connection is via USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2. NVMe can reach up to 10 Gbps. M.2 SATA goes up to 5 Gbps. The chipset is the RTL9210B.
You don't need any drivers. Nor an external power supply. The dock works via USB. The box contains a USB cable and an adapter, so you can also use it on USB-A. Its compact size makes it easy to take with you.
