The Kitronik Rechargeable USB LED Light is a fun soldering kit. It is designed for use in technology classes. Even teachers with limited knowledge of electronics can use it easily. Full documentation is available on the Kitronik website.
You can use the kit in two ways. On its own as a way to introduce electronics to students. Or as part of a larger project, involving all aspects of product design . There are 4 x m3 mounting holes to fit rigid enclosures.
The circuit of the lamp has two sections: Energy Storage and Energy Consumption. The switch joins the two parts of the circuit. When the circuit is turned on, the capacitors in the LED are allowed to discharge. After five minutes of charging, this should result in 5-10 minutes of LED lighting.
