Description NeoPixel Diffused 8mm LED - 5 Pack

These are the Through-Hole 8mm diffused NeoPixels from Adafruit. If you are familiar with NeoPixel strips, you will really like these LEDs. The LEDs offer single-pin control of hundreds of LEDs in a breadboard friendly format. Each LED looks like a standard 8mm RGB LED with 4 legs. However, instead of just a red/green/blue LED, there is a small chip inside that can control the LED. This with high PWM speed for 24-bit color.
Power the LEDs with 5V and connect them together. You connect the Data-Out pin of one LED to the Data-In pin of the other LED. This way you can connect a lot of NeoPixel LEDs. When you use an Arduino you can You can control these LEDs with the Arduino NeoPixel Library . They also work with the Adafruit Trinkets. Note that these are RGB instead of GRB like the 5050 type LEDs. Check the NeoPixel example code for automatic color switching.
