Whereby the charging current is initially constant and then switches to constant voltage when the battery reaches the maximum voltage of 4.2V . The battery is protected against damage by overcharging the battery. This is because the module is equipped with built-in protection functions. The overcharge protection ensures that the charging voltage does not exceed 4.3V. While the overdischarge protection prevents the battery voltage from dropping below the safe limit of 2.5V . In addition, the overcurrent protection protects the module and the battery from damage due to abnormal current levels . The module is compatible with various Li-ion rechargeable batteries. The Charging module is powered via a DC 5V power source with a minimum current of 1A .
