The cable is Cat 6A and supports a bandwidth of up to 500 MHz. It is S/FTP designed, which means extra protection against interference. Each pair of wires has a foil layer. The entire cable is also wrapped in braided shielding. This is particularly useful in environments with many cables, power supplies, and adapters close together.
The outer jacket is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). In the event of a fire, less smoke is released, and the jacket contains no halogens. The RJ45 connectors (8P8C) have gold-plated contacts for a reliable connection. The plugs are molded and feature strain relief. The snagless caps protect the clip, reducing the risk of snagging or breaking off.
