This is the 16-Relay 2A/24V HAT For Raspberry Pi . This HAT is designed to seamlessly manage the control of numerous loads. With its stackable design, you can stack up to eight layers of this HAT on top of each other. This gives you the ability to integrate large numbers of relays into your project. You can connect up to 128 relays to a single Raspberry Pi . The HAT uses convenient pluggable connectors. This makes it easy to use multiple stacked boards. The relays are equipped with NO (Normally Open) contacts. This means that they are suitable for switching both 24V/2A AC and DC loads. Bi-color LEDs on the side of the board clearly show whether a relay is on or off. Additionally, there is a separate LED that lights up when the HAT is powered. A reset button provides a convenient way to shut down your Raspberry Pi . This HAT is universally compatible and works with all Raspberry Pi models from the Zero through to the 5. The stacked boards share the I2C bus. This leaves plenty of GPIO pins available for further additions and modifications. It operates at 5V and can be powered from both the Raspberry Pi itself and from an external power source via a 2-pin pluggable connector. Current consumption is minimal when the relays are disabled (around 10mA).
