Description 16-LV Digital Inputs HAT For Raspberry Pi
This is the 16-LV Digital Inputs HAT For Raspberry Pi . This HAT is specially designed for the Raspberry Pi . By default, the Raspberry Pi can read 26 input signals via the GPIO header. But sometimes this is not enough and you need more inputs. This HAT offers a solution to this problem. With 16 optically isolated digital inputs, this HAT offers versatility. For each channel, you can select the input range via jumpers, ranging from 3 to 24 volts. This allows the inputs to read both DC and AC signals. The communication between the HAT and the Raspberry Pi is exclusively via the I2C port. This means that the remaining 24 GPIO pins remain available for your own applications. In addition, the HAT has an RS-485 port, a power LED and a handy push button with which you can safely shut down the Raspberry Pi. The HAT is easy to use thanks to the pluggable connectors. In addition, the HAT is compatible with all versions of the Raspberry Pi , from Zero to 5. For power, the HAT requires 5V, either from the Raspberry Pi or via its own 2-pin connector. The current consumption is low, only 10mA. When using the connector, no additional power is required for the Raspberry Pi .A power LED shows the status of the power supply and eight LEDs indicate the status of groups of 8 inputs. You can select the status of inputs 1-8 or 9-16 via a jumper or a Raspberry Pi GPIO pin. Stacking up to eight HATs on the Raspberry Pi is possible. Each HAT has jumpers for identification and a three-position jumper for the stack level. Two jumpers are included with each HAT for your convenience.
