The 2 RS485 channels use the SC16IS752+SP3485 dual-chip combination to convert SPI to RS485 communication . This allows you to establish reliable serial communication over long distances . The HAT is equipped with a built-in power conversion circuit. Allowing you to use a wide range of supply voltages from 8V to 28V. This allows you to power both the Raspberry Pi and the HAT from a single power source. Thanks to the unibody isolation of the supply voltage, a stable isolated voltage is provided, without the need for additional power to the isolated terminals . This ensures reliable and interference-free operation, while also ensuring low power consumption .
