Description 2A Motor Shield DFrobot

This 2x2A DC Motor Shield from DFrobot is an essential component for Arduino users. It allows Arduino to control two DC motors. The heart of this shield is the L298N chip. This chip provides up to 2A of current per channel. Speed control is easily achieved via PWM. This signal comes from Arduino's PWM output pins 5 and 6. The on/off function of the motor is controlled by Arduino's digital pins 4 and 7.

You can power the Motor Shield directly from Arduino. However, an external power source is recommended. This will increase the performance of the shield.
