Prototyping

Prototyping means: an early model of a product, or actually a prototype. A project usually has undergone multiple phases before it has become a final product. For example, you can test multiple phases of your project via a breadboard. You can use the jumper wires for this. These cables can be plugged into the board without having to solder them. If you are happy with the result of your project and you want to "fix" it definitively, then use a prototyping board. You can easily solder the components onto this board.
